“Best Fire Starters I have ever used. I put them to the ultimate test using damp kindling and wood after a couple of days of rain. I even dunked the fire starter packet in the lake right before placing it under the damp kindling to test out the products claims of being 100% waterproof. One second of a match flame dried the unique package surface and it lit right up. The resulting dense & long-lasting flame (I timed it at just over 8 minutes) from the fire starter was enough to drive off the outside dampness on my kindling and get the fire going first try, one match. I was impressed. I look forward to the convenience of these GoFire starters in my backcountry cabin and at home when wood burning season starts, I think they are going to save me a lot of kindling, which is often harder to get than the wood itself.”
